This drink can be made with bottled lemon juice, but it’s FAR better with fresh. I am in the habit of buying 5 lb bags of lemons and juicing them. This makes stronger juice as the machine extracts oil from the peel. When juicing ANY fruit or vegetable, wash it first!
1 cup lemon juice
3/4 cup sugar
1 tray ice cubes
Put the lemon juice, sugar, and ice cubes in a blender. Add water to about the 3/4 full mark and blend until ice is chopped. Stop and add more water to the top, and blend on low until mixed in.
Vary sugar and lemon to taste.
